Our amazing volunteers play and important role in supporting our dedicated Keepers in the day-to-day running of the zoo. From helping maintain enclosures and assisting with general site maintenance, to supporting events and interacting with guests, volunteers help us continue providing the best possible home for our animals and creating a positive experience for guests.
Volunteering is also a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, meet like-minded people, and spend time around fascinating animals. Whether you’re studying, passionate about animals, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your time, volunteering can be a fun and fulfilling experience.
Volunteering is suitable for all ages 16+, and we have roles to suit everyone. Volunteers must usually be able to regularly commit one day per week.
